Have you changed the fuel filter? If you have, Kohlers are VERY picky about the fuel filter and they can get really cranky with non OEM or third party universal filters. Must be the correct micron rating and fuel pump or gravity filter or all kinds of weird fuel supply problems creep up.

Well,you really can't do the fuel pump justice w/o replacing it. Mechanical pumps do cause intermittent runability issues. As do soft old fuel lines that contract as the pump is trying to do its job. With all that being said, I've had a similar Cub w/ a horizontal vangard had the fuel line flipped up above the pump- which caused a similar condition. Hopefully it is that simple.

The fuel is boiling in the line between the tank and fuel pump. For a good 2 to 3 minutes after i pull the lie off the pump inlet.

OP - might be worth yer time to pull engine cowling and chk for dirt/trash/etc in fins - might be related to overheated fuel line...

The muffler was split and the heat shield routed the exhaust right down the frame rail.

I have a Cub Cadet 2166 Lawn mower... it did sit in my garage not cranked for about 2 seasons "needed a carburetor" I got the new carburetor installed with new fuel filter and drained all the gas and purged the lines... The mower cranked right up, ran like new for about 30>45+ minutes then acted like it was out of fuel and went dead... I can fully choke it and it will crank up and run ruff for 20>30 Seconds then go dead but cranks back up with full choke. I Removed air filter and verified plenty of clean fuel being pumped, installed new spark plug, new fuel filter, made no difference... I feel it's got to be electrical.. Question, Will the Digital Speed Advance Module cause the mower to run like this?

make sure you put in an OEM Kohler fuel filter oriented in the correct direction. Also take a pc of thin brass wire - run it thru small hole in fuel tank cap - blow out with air - try again.
