I don't have a diagram, but-

You DO NOT want 12V going to the coil!!!!
The magnet in the flywheel generates the spark, just like on a walk behind mower.

I'd suggest ordering the CORRECT key switch and working from there.

Thanks that helps to know the coil isn't powered up, I have the correct switch , it's the fact that all the wires are just hanging out with no connector. But Thanks forth reply

Does the switch have the terminals marked such as-
B, S, M, G etc.

IF so, we can get you at least part way there.

No letters on it, it is a aftermarket switch , I have got most of the wires figured out and it cranks and has power to the solenoid on the carb. It has no spark,mi installed a new coil. Just not sure how the coil works. The black wire produces a small voltage when cranking and I just ran it to the only terminal on the ignition switch that was left open.

The wire going to the coil is the KILL wire.
It is GROUNDED to KILL spark.

The key terminal it connects to should be grounded (to the G terminal) in the OFF position ONLY. Otherwise, it shouldn't connect to anything.

There will likely be other things, such as a seat switch etc., connected to the Kill Wire.

To test the coil, DISCONNECT the kill wire and see if you get spark. That takes ALL safety devices out of the kill circuit. Make sure the parking brake etc. is set in case it starts.

I found the coil was open from seconday cable to the housing I will need to get another coil now, Thanks for the help.
