Our lawn tractor has a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard. When it gets hot it stops running. We have 2 acres to cut and it is inconvenient. any ideas on what it maybe that is causing the problem?

when it gets hot/quits next time quickly pull off engine carb air cleaner and spray cuppla shots of rattlecan carb cleaner directly into carb throat - attempt to start. If no start, you have ignition prob, if attempts to start you have fuel delivery prob.
let us know.

Coupled w/ what rcbe said- it may be possible that the fuel cap is simply not venting.
