Snapper 421622BVE boot replacement

Hi All, Does anyone have instructions for replacing both axle boots on a Snapper rear engine rider - 421622BVE? Any special tools required?

Actually, I am not sure what that Snapper is, maybe a tractor type? but I think they replace about the same as a RER.

Hi, I have a 84249 RER and replaced the axle boots last night. Now the wheels are locked. It was late so I didn't pull it back apart. I must have installed something wrong.

It was a mucky mess when I pulled it apart. I may have missed something. All help appreciated.
