I have a 190 c--100 series j d 54" cut here is the problem,can you check the pto switch without the tractor running? Will the pto switch keep it from starting, have a new battery. Here is what happened I was mowing and hit some thick pine straw the jd died stopped turned off switch checked for clogs none were found, tried to turn pto on killed jd shut off pto started it up turned on pto killed it immediately now it will not start at all. checked batt good checked solenoid no power going through, put on a new one same thing can jump across post and engine will turn.
? will pto switch keep it from starting, best way to check it Seat switch was working fine. Best way to check ignition switch. any other thoughts on what to do. Thank you for your help and time.
