Kohler CV25S starts and then dies

I have a Kohler CV25S, spec #69557, on a Simplicity Stallion Zero-turn. While mowing last week it died. It will start back up and run for about 2 seconds and then dies. I put a timing light on each plug wire and it loses spark on both cylinders and then dies. I have replaced the spark advance module but it continues to do the same thing. Any ideas?

I'm too ignorant about the SAM's, but for clarification so maybe someone else can help-
Does it immediately start back up and repeat?

I'm kind of wondering if it might be a fuel issue instead, where it's dying first and then you lose spark due to low engine speed.
You might try spraying a bit of carb cleaner (or a squirt can of gas) in the carb and see if you can keep it running, just to eliminate that possibility.
