I have had my Toro LX500 for about six years, besides Toro discontinuing it, and my having to find a supplier of blades, I love it. Until this year, the only problem I've had with it was getting a new battery every year or so. Now, when I try to start it, the engine just cranks and does not catch or turn over. I have charged the battery, changed the plugs, fuel filter, and battery solenoid, to no avail.
I am not a real mechanically inclined guy, and there are no small engine repair shops close by.
It is monsoon season here in Arizona and my "grass" is about 2 - 3 feet high.
Any ideas about what else I should be checking? I am currently trying to find how to access the carbuerator online and see if that needs cleaning.
Thanks in advance.
