Craftsman20.5 lawn tractor battery exploded

I was not hurt thankfully but now with the new battery it is overcharging according to my son's tester...what part do I need to order?

Maybe a new voltage regulator?

You need to specify the Sears 917.xxxxxx number so that we can determine which charging system you have.
Then we can tell you how to test its' various components.

Full Chemical Exposure Suit and Some Faith!

Just Kidding , serious check of the charging system , Load Test to ensure that the Voltage Regulator as recommended is operating properly !
