| I just came back from the local county fair, where some of the lawn mower/tractor dealers were showing their wares. I came across a new Allis Chalmers lawn tractor. It was next to the Simplicity tractors, so I assume it is manufactured by Simplicity. I am thinking of going to the dealer and looking at this one. Opinions on the Allis Chalmers, anyone? |

| Simp made GT's for A/C going back to the 60's and those are highly regarded by collectors. I wasn't aware that A/C was still putting out a GT line but if Simp is still making them then I wouldn't worry about the quality. You don't read about complaints with anything that Simplicity makes and A/C has always made quality ag and construction equipment. I doubt that they're going to tarnish their fine reputation for something like a GT. If you like the machine, then buy it. There's plenty worse out there. |
