Ref a 1998 B & S 14hp OHV engine model 287700, type 1236E1, on a Dixon ZT 42" deck mower. My lovely wife was mowing some very high and damp grass and allowed the mower to blog down (reduced rpms). After hearing this and looking her way, I saw white (maybe blue?) smoke coming out of the muffler. Got her attention and she turned it off. I removed all the excess grass, checked the oil level, and ran it for another 30 minutes or so. The engine appears OK, but was wondering if there is something to specifically check to ensure there was no internal damage? tks, mac
