Likely the reverse issue is at the switch / wiring at the rear by the R rear tire. If the shifting of weight is not triggering the seat contacts- that too could go back to the wiring at that reverse switch in back. Frequently the wire breaks at the switch and can be justa flopping around just waiting to ground out on a turn.

OP - if still trouble, look in the cavity under the tilting seat - get the full model number off the I D plate - post it here so we can know which cub model you have.

I am still having problems...model #1515. When I lift the seat I see contacts and two separate wires that have stay con type connectors on them and plugged in makes good contact.

No sign of broken wires unless its inside the harness. There is a connector that goes to the PTO and many wires(more than 6 didnt count) connected to back of PTO switch.

Did you look behind the RR tire?

Hogan - Go to the link. enter your model 1515 and s/n. download the service manual section "understanding the PTO switch". Look at the pix titled "figure 39.5". then go look under yer tractor as tom has TWICE asked you to do.
