Of course, it just went out of the extended warranty period! While mowing, I heard a 'chatter', and the whole tractor started shaking violently. I was able to drive it to the garage and park it. After letting it cool down, I removed one of the heads, and the piston is 'free floating'. I know, a broken connecting rod. Fortunately no visible cracks or holes in the engine body itself, and it still runs. I finally was able to get the retainer nut off of the flywheel tday, but then I broke my puller trying to remove the flywheel. Any suggestions, besides a new puller? I have generously sprayed WD-40 on the shaft over a 3 day period. Thanks!
