don't think it is a problem. rust was from machine setting for a while. first grass-cuttung session will knock rust off blades.
more importantly, read owners manual and perform all req'd maintenance activities before putting the machine to work - lube, tire pressures, battery, etc.... even if dealer said it was already done.
It's also a great way to become familiar with yer new ride...
