A fellow brought in the rustiest MTD Snow blower/ thrower that i have ever seen! Said he got it for $50, as-is.

Since the WM said he was going to give us rain for any picnics today, i got started on it.

Stinky gas in tank, not much, but enough to stink. Paint peeling everywhere, rust in mountainous heaps. Had lots of TLC--not! (Rain just arrived! Fire Co. out on numerous calls!) Installed new spark plug-it runs on a bit of starting fluid! Will clean everything, and make it run! But--the gear box doesn't look very good, so that'll get the treatment too. Famous words: "Well, i can leave my pickemup set out in the weather--why not the other machinery?!"
