| I had a bad Briggs & Stratton 1 cylinder engine
I interchanged a 14.5 HP with a 17.5 HP They were bolt for bolt the same engine externally Does anybody know the HP range that are the same externally? How about the 2 cylinder engine - is there a HP range for them Thanks |

True, mounting bolt holes are the same, 12 hp thru 18.5 hp for singles with some later versions of 9.5 even being the same pattern. The 17.5 hp will have a larger cylinder, cylinder bore than the 14.5 hp. Walt Conner |
