Intake has the aluminum push rod.

Intake is bottom (aluminum push rod).
Exhaust is top (steel push rod).
Or you can always look at the physical location of where the carb intake meets the head. The intake will be the valve that lines up at that level.
Same goes for the exhaust manifold port and the exhaust valve.
