wiring for electric clutch getting caught up in clutch when engag

Hi all this is my first post to your forum. I have a dty 4000 cratsmen mower and i was replacing the transimssion bely and the deck belts and just general cleanup. I had removed the deck to pound out some dents ect and when I put the deck back on and engaged the PTO the clutch pulled the wiring into it causing some damage to the wiring. It is easily repaired but i am not sure how to route the wiring coming from the clutch so it doesn't get sucked back in.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

DMark
