The 44 and 47 for the Select Series are the only two JD blowers that fit an X500. The 44 is the recommended one but the 47 for the X540 will fit. It's heavier and a real BEAR to lift with the pedal lift the X500 uses.

They are out there used but they get bought quickly.

If you do buy one get the power lift kit for your X500... makes everything a lot easier. With the power lift you can float the blower over a gravel driveway so you blow snow and not throw rocks.

You'll also need four suitcase weights, maybe wheel weights, and at least HDAP rear tires or chains on your stock turf tires.
