KISS approach - chk the fuel tank cap vent not plugged. Use fresh fuel. Flush fuel lines/replace fuel filter with OEM type.

If engine quits, chk for good spark present when trying re-starting.

If still prob, drop/clean carb bowl.

If STILL prob, do a complete carb clean with new kit.

Thanks for the tips, i have 14 acres of lawn, gas is never in it long enough to go sour, checked the caps on both tanks but i think I gotta get the carb kit, of course none of the dealers in a 25 mile radius have it. Not even the bowl gasket, air cleaner or solenoid.
Wonder if the pulse pump could play a role in this problem???

That's odd that no one has parts. You could try with out. Fuel pumps can fail intermittently. Does yours have an accelerator pump? 14 acres of lawn is just plain nuts!
