You could either drain what is in the sump or if the oil on the stick is also hard to read, feels thin, smells of fuel etc. that would be the signs of contaminated oil.

Even as quarts of oil prices seem high...still cheap in comparison...If suspect, Drain and refill...add a inline fuel shut off valve..

OP - if you've got raw fuel leaking into the crankcase, you can tell by pulling the dipstick and smelling for the presence of fuel. If so, drain/replace crankcase oil/filter before running engine again. Contaminated oil with raw fuel loses it's lubricating properties allowing rapid engine wear/damage.
Also a good idea to install/use an inline fuel shutoff valve, even if you do get the leaking carb or fuel pump fixed.... good luck.
