I was given by an older gentleman up in the Sierra foothills this 2006 MTD Yard Machine. He probably has not used this machine with the deck attached 10 times. I think he used it to tow a trailer for his garbage down to the road.

Everything is there BUT the front connection on the deck. That is what I am trying to solve.

Is there a website which would give me either a schematic or pictures of the parts that are missing on this unit.

Pictures below are of the ride on, the front deck area and the model/serial number. You can see the front nose area of the deck. I need to find those missing parts.

But of course! Click link below and jump through a couple of hoops and there is everything you need, owner's manual, IPL for your parts.

I learned a ton from the PDF download of the owners manual.
The part I need is a called a Deck Adjustment Rod

part 747 04269a sells for about 10-12 bucks plus shipping.

I probably could make one but will buy one from a supplier.

Nice find! You'll also want the ball or cup that goes with the rod so it seats in the front hanger bracket to go with it.

Nice save tomplum. Part number 748-04069 for the swivel cup. Cup is a must as it allows the adjusting rod attitude to change when raising/lowering deck, without destroying the front bracket. Without this cup......YOUR attitude will turn bad :^)

buymtdonline.com is the web site. Look for the button to look up parts. MTD can supply parts directly for premium prices. Mowers shops usually have accounts with MTD's distributors and sometimes the prices are better. Check with the mower shops that have boneyards.
