Just wanted to post my findings using my Trac-Vac and the high lift blades compared to the Gator blades. I didn't compare the factory premium mulching blade but if you are using the high-lift blades then this is interesting.

Granted the impeller on the Trac-Vac mulches the leaves down after the blades a little, starting out with a higher reduction means less time dumping the cart.

The only drawback is the Gator blade leaves a few remnants behind but not a huge deal. If you are trying to fill the cart as much as posible then the Gators work very well.

Here's a pic of the contents of two consecutive loads, Gator on the left and the high-lift blades on the right.

Tractor in question is Husqvarna YTH1542XP, Sears DYT4000 clone.

I believe the premium mulching blades fall in the middle but lean towards the Gators. I will try to get another comparison after this storm clears.
