If it were me , I would remove the clutch and start the engine -attempting to determine if the shaft is true or tweaked. Do this if you feel you safely can. Having these clutches tight enough keeps them together and it can affect the life of the clutch if not. 40-50 foot pounds is the correct torque. Some have a double D washer above the bolt that can be held or you can lock the flywheel to hold the engine as well.
