A real mechanics Book:

Whilst searching for an old Hot Rod magazine, i came upon a hard-bound book, put out way back in the early years of automobiles! Named "Dykes" and crammed full of the very early cars and how to repair them. I was given the book by a mechanic who used to live next door, but has since passed.

Even has motorcycles and airplanes. Has a lot of drawings, but not many pictures. Probably 300 pages, more or less.

It gives thorough instructions on how to fix most everything. Except lawn mowers, etc. Although the basic concept of fixing cars, etc. has remained the same as it pertains to mowers and other things.

Any ideas? Anybody fixing really old "Jenny" airplanes, or really old cars?
