Extension for small engine oil drain plug.

I have a Honda GCV 160 engine with a metric 12mm 1.5 oil drain plug thread (on a Troy-Bilt log splitter, actually).

Where it's located makes oil changing messy, and I'd like to add an short extension pipe (4"-5") to bring it out and away from the machine's undercarriage.

I've always added an drain extensions to my tractors, snowblowers etc., to keep things neat, but I can't find a pipe nipple in this metric size. Do they even exist?

I've seen some in a catalog made of rubber hose with 12mm 1.5 couplings for around $15 plus shipping, but they're longer than what's necessary.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Ron
