Onan ignition parts?

Hi Guys...

I have an Onan Performer 18 XSL with what I think is a failing ignition module. I've checked all the obvious stuff (safty switches, grounds, etc). It's not a fuel problem. It starts and runs well but cuts off when it warms up. As soon as it's cool it will start again. Cuts off just like I turned the switch off. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a replacement module???? I have not been able to find one. I can not read the serial number of the engine. Any help would be appreciated!!

They just got me some gaskets and O rings for the same motor I have in a old lawn tractor. Doubtful parts are returnable and that aren't cheap.

You may need to get to the module to give her what numbers on it.

You might want to track down the Onan ignition diagnostic tests first. There is a way to check the system with a test light I believe. That trigger on the flywheel is very hard to get to and I'd hate for you to replace it an that not solve your problem.

But...that is what the problem sounds like. When they start to go bad, they will work cold but not hot.
