| I was mulching leaves with my 1 1/2 year old 48" Husky and I heard a loud noise and smelled the belt burning.
The mandrel housing on one of the blades broke. I inspected the area and could not find anything that I could have hit and I have never hit anything tougher than a hickory nut with it! I parked it and drug out my old early 90's Murray and finished the job. 2 pulls and it was ready to go! New belt $72.95, New mandrel housing $26.89, my old Murray, Priceless! |
