I have a model WM280921B my parts manual says the short axle is p/n 7057398 and the long is p/n 7075479.some of the vendors show A P/N7060412 axle set, which is cheaper than the individual axles. My question is,does anyone know if the set will fit my mower?

Well I don't see any responses to your question and I really don't know. I do know that they changed the axle ass'y several years ago and the gears were different than the old, old mowers. In these cases, the axles fit but new spider gears had to be used also to mesh with the new axle gear pitch. This is something you may want to explore. You may find that the axle numbers you have are obsolete. I don't know how to identify the age of your mower from the numbers.

Walt:thanks for the reply.one of the vendors that I spoke to last week just e-mailed me and said that the 7060412 set fits 99% of all RERs and should come with the7011026 spacer which is not used with earlier axles. In case anyone else wants to know.
