JD LT 160 bagger

I need a bagger for my LT 160, purchased years ago, before my trees matured. My dealer said $400.00 or more for a new one. Yikes!
I tried Ebay and Craigslist, but now I can't think of any other way to find one. Can any of you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

I saw some at Lowes---but they were upwards to $350
Check their website

RE: JD LT 160 bagger

I just went through this. I have a LT155 which is basically the same thing as your 160. It will be hard to find a used bagger to fit your mower. I looked for a year with no luck.

I doubt the $400 bagger the dealer cited you will fit your 160 either as my dealer couldn't really find (or said he couldn't)a new bagger to fit an older mower.

So I bought a one year old used bagger for the new JD mowers off craigs list for $100. Now it wouldn't fit my 155 because the bagger doesn't mount the same on both tractors. I had to do a little welding on the mounting bracket and cutting on the plastic chute that attaches to the deck. I probably spent 5 hours on the project but the end result is I couldn't be happier. Works like a charm.

If you haven't found a solution yet, let me know and I will take some pictures of what I have done and post them.

If someone was creative they COULD modify a deck shoot
to fit your JD. I was ready to buy a deck before I finally found a plastic company here in town who took a deck shoot then heated it, then molded it to fit my deck outlet

The rest of the bagging system is generic
