| I have the motor above and I think its a 2004 model in my CC lt1018. It is one of those engines with the really crapy clamp on top filter cover that does not seal very good. I have inserted a thin piece of foam inside but not really happy with it. I have 87 hours on it and its still ok but I feel I should do something that will truly address the problem. Has or does anyone know what the proper fix would be like maybe a different set up or maybe screws? Just looking for a good idea to solve this engineering problem.

| B&S has a fix, several different parts, air filter cover and some other items that I don't remember. Fairly expensive, $100 or so. I suggest contacting B&S Customer Relations for advice, may have a special package by now. Walt Conner |
