I googled and found several references to Toro tractors.

In the article it says they were of "standardized design" so if you find one you should learn about yours.

Also I would contact Toro. Give them any numbers you find on the motor and tractor, they may still have some parts for the tractor.

Have you checked to see if the gear shift lever is still hooked to anything?
