I'm new to lawn tractors, but have the opportunity to get one. One problem though, the engine is probably shot. I'm getting it from a widower, and she ran it without oil. I know it has one blown rod. It is a Simplicity 7119 with a deck and a snowblower attatchment. The engine is a Kohler KT19S. Her husband took very good care of it, but after he died last year, she drove it without adding oil. She told me I could have it for $200. I was just looking for some advice if this is something I should be getting myself into. I can't afford to get a new one and this would help with the brutal winters up north as well as cut my rather large yard. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
