Hi, I posted this pic on the plant identification forum, as the builder of our new house had this planted when they did our instant yard with sod and plantings.
It had no tag, and I don't know what it is. Redbud or catalpa?

But someone mentioned the staking might be an issue? Is there a problem with it? I intend to put a Treegator around it, as it is summer and seems planted late, and may be stressed.
