Wave9x, back in '02 I moved into my home partly because of the beautiful mature white ash trees olanted around it.

Well they were too close for safety anyways but then I discovered the Emerald Ash Borer plague sweeping my way killing essentially every ash tree in its path. Now the Gateway Arch grounds is planning on removing its hundreds of ash trees and I consider them a "do not plant" as a prime ornamental unless you either believe EAB will not thrive in your climate or you have a control plan.

I still have a couple left which I am pre-treating but I am diversifying as fast as I can.
