While not record setting for temps it has been steadily cold in st louis this year. Usually snow comes then goes and I can actually sneak in a couple days out on the rollerblades inbetween. Not this year. The snow on the ground in the pics is a couple weeks old!

Resin, there are signs of spring here too. I took this picture yesterday.
The Rhododendron, called 'Olive', is located under a Nootka. It always blooms early and I usually get pictures of it with snow on the blooms.

It's reached 41c in Sydney today with hot NW winds, so that ice looks good!
The whole week has been more like a Tokyo or Washington DC summer than Sydney, with humid nights only getting down to 24c; even 26c one night.

Hello Phil. Yeah, its been a real winter up here. I bet my yard hasn't been snow free for a month. The moles are going crazy.

C2g, that snow looks heavy. Amazing they all made it.

And I can't believe the rest of you northern hemispherians are already getting plants leafing out. I'm taking away all that warm water from your coasts and sending up some ice!
