when do oak seedlings start producing "species-typical" leaves?

I've got a few Q. michauxii seedlings sprouting under a grow lamp indoors. To be transitioned outside sometime in April.

I've also grown other oaks from acorns in the past.

It seems that just about all oak seedlings (first-year) have more or less the same leaf, vaguely resembling a chestnut leaf.

When do leaves more typical of the particular species start showing up? Is it in subsequent flushes in the first season, or not until the second growing season or later?

Although I have grown other oaks from acorns, they were always planted right outdoors, and I never really paid much attention to when the leaves looked "normal" as they were not on my own property, so I didn't see them all the time.
