| You might be best off asking on the Fruit and Orchards forum. |

| Your local county agriculture extension office is likely to be your best source of information about which edible fruit plants do best in your area. They should be VERY knowledgeable about conditions in your area (soil type, climate, etc, etc), well informed about what has been proven to grow well there, familiar with which plants would likely be most productive for you, and knowledgeable about which types of plants would be easiest for you to maintain and care for. Their job is to answer questions like these and their services (except maybe some lab work or something like that) are free of charge. They are there now (during regular business hours) waiting to help you! Here's the contact info for your area: Tulsa County Extension Office They will also likely be able to supply you with a bunch of reading/reference material about this subject (and other horticultural/gardening topics). Another great source should be fellow members on the Oklahoma Gardening Forum! They should have first-hand experience with what you are trying to do. I will link that forum below. |
