Corymbia citriodora - shaping/pruning advice?

I have a lemon eucalyptus tree (Corymbia citriodora, formerly eucalyptus citriodora) tree in my front yard. It's about 2.5 years old, at least the height of our two story house. about 20 feet away from the house. Planted as a seedling.
It's grown really well, and really fast. Surprisingly, it came through the low temps we've had this winter with no problems.
The problem, is that it has forked at the top, a little more than halfway up. I'm worried that it will snap/split, not to mention that it looks odd. Should I prune off one side, with the intent of forcing the other one to be the leader? I don't know anything about pruning/shaping eucalyptus.
Thanks for any advice.
