| We received cuttings from a friend of a golden or yellow Populus nigra with a columnar habit.
We do not typically grow any poplars. Are any of you aware of a cultivaar with golden or yellow summer leaves? It is also possible that it is a cultivar of a different species of Populus. We do not have any summer photos yet. Best- Brent |

| My first thought would be Golden Lombardy Poplar. |

| That would likely be 'Lombardy Gold' it was sport on a large poplar in Surrey, England found in the early 1980s. It is nice gold and should grow well if you can grow normal Lombardy and similar cultivars. It will be just as susceptible to canker in areas where that is a problem, though. |
