I attended yesterday's 2014 Illinois Nut Tree Association meeting in Edwardsville, IL. On display were KSU's (best) pecans, harvested 2013.

RE: 2013 Kansas State University Pecan Crop Figures

Looked at my conifer grafts.. found 1 dead scion. The same cultivar also was dead on a dead rootstock. Does that give me 1/2 a point to the good? lol ...the other rootstock "looked" alive but I'll bet it's going to die. Null is the word, lol.

Of course had to be Abies koreana Wellenseind.

Glad I have another already grafted, lol.

pfff Ken, give a guy some acceptance to go nutty once in a while, lol...
