Tree/shrub next to pool - privacy?

We are looking for suggestions on what to plant next to our above ground pool to add privacy/screening. The pool is 4' tall and is located 10' from lot line (4' fence). Ideally we'd like something that matures to around 10-15' and won't create a mess in the pool (seeds, twigs, leaves except for fall). Thanks in advance!

Nothing will stop growing at 10-15'... once it reaches that tall, it will just go taller. I'm not to sure I would want something that tall next to a pool. Even above ground pools are in the ground somewhat. My parents have one and it's in the ground abouve 6-7 inches... I believe these pools don't have a bottom... it's sand. What's going to stop the roots from going through or under the alluminum wall and setting roots in the sand area? Then when stepped on and what not, put a hole in the liner?

What about like a wooden solid fence? Maybe a 20' section to help with privacy then you can plant stuff such as roses that can climb the fence. You will have imediate privacy because of the fence and it'll look nice once the roses are all over it. Just a though =)

Perhaps a fence or climbing vine system with some shrubs in front of it?

But by the love of god no Honeysuckle. I pick more Honeysuckle weeds from the flower beds.
