I live in Hawaii and am growing from a seed, a papaya tree in a large pot. The tree is about 1.5 years old and has started to produce blooms. However, the blooms keep falling off. My questions are:
1. Will it produce fruit in a container?
2. See attached photo. What sex of the plant do I have? It doesn't look like a male but not seeing a female either. Can you help me identify?

I pulled a flower off of a female plant that had fruit in hopes that maybe I could pollinate it myself to see if that would work. Looking for guidance to help produce fruit.
