Does anyone know what is the name of the tree in the picture?

It looks like a "crepe-murdered" crepe myrtle.........

No crinkled fabric or thin pancakes...I'm pretty sure it's not a crepe myrtle...or a crape myrtle, for that matter. A closeup of the leaves would most likely allow for an accurate ID.

Its a gumbo-limbo - native to south Florida. Latin name: Bursera simaruba
