Just recently heard about this place - anyone who has visited wish to comment or show some images? Looks like a great place to visit, but admission is sort of pricey.

Looks like I'll need to make a report whenever I visit on my way to a family members home in Alpharetta.

I live in the same county - have driven past it even. But it is not my style and I don't plan to go.

Thanks for the reply and I'm curious - what is it about the place that's not your style if I may ask?

I am into native plants and this set of gardens is very cultivated and stylized. I have heard others comment that the Japanese gardens here are incredible though. That's not to say that there aren't some remaining natural areas (a huge fern glade, for example), just not enough for my taste.

I would prefer to spend my time and money in a State Park than in a landscape full of imported plants. Just my thing, that's all.

Thanks - I can appreciate that way of thinking.
