| This was a couple weeks ago now (ok, so I need to download from my camera a bit more often). Planted as a 10 footer in 2000 it is nearing 30 feet high now. Though a very nice show both spring and fall, alas, the show is fleeting. Fortunately the summer folliage is a nice attractive deep green. And being warned it would not like clay, I planted one third of the rootball above grade in my sometimes chewing gum clay.

| Gorgeous! Are you going to eventually sacrifice it for the conifers planted beneath the canopy? |

| Epic! I'll set something up to stop out soon. Maybe that time is now? |

| Thanks, folks. j0nd03- One conifer is a Picea omorika 'Nana' and it has 15-20 years befare being an issue at its current growth rate. The other, a Juniperus scopulorum that, though not an issue now, I've been debating pruning at ground level. Whaas- This week's predicted weather should have things poppin'. Just let me know. tj |
