I planted a bradford pear tree 4 weeks and today I noticed tiny green bugs or maybe eggs on the leaves. Can anyone tell me what that is and how to get rid of it? Something seams to eating the leaves.

Peggy, are ya able to pist pics with photobucket or similar? FWIW I see little foliage damage on Bradfords ever. Their problem is blowing apart in the wind and producing odd invasive seedlings.

"Can anyone tell me what (bugs that eat Bradford pear trees are)?" Angels, maybe? Whatever they are, they are trying to do you a huge favor. "Can anyone tell me ... how to get rid of it?" If you mean the horrible Bradford pear tree, since it's newly planted, it shouldn't be too late to just pull it up and throw it away!

peggy, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, many people will use 'eggs' and 'tiny green bugs' in the same sentence when they are talking about aphids. You might want to google aphids to see if it's a match. But aphids do not chew holes in leaves, so if you've seen lots of that kind of damage, you'll have to locate a culprit of some kind. Brandon, you crack me up. Angels. Peggy, you won't find many fans of Bradfords here. They have become quite the pest species in many locations.
