| I'm in the Central Valley of CA about 30 miles south of Sacramento. I planted a dwarf avocado tree in the ground a little over a year ago, and it both hasn't grown at all and is wilty with yellowing leaves. The hole in which it was planted was dug out enough to put in a 3 equal part mixture of compost, peat moss and garden soil. A pear tree planted 12 feet away at the same time in the same manner seems to be doing fine, i.e., growing, blossoming, even a couple of mini pears. Ideas?
