Chinese Elms

Apparently Chinese Elms are semi deciduous depending on the climate. So if they were to be planted in inner city Adelaide, Australia, would they be deciduous and lose the leaves in autumn/winter, or only partly so? I think the average low of Adelaide in winter is about 7 degrees celsius.

The average low where I live is higher than Adelaide and they drop their leaves here. Yours will likely turn a pretty orangy gold.
