| Found this one in Spanish Lake Park, St Louis, MO.
Was thinking Hackberry but the bark isn't right. Shape makes me think Beech but nope. What is it? |

| It sure is an interesting one. Me and my Android tree ID app were not going to guess Linden for 3 or 4 more weeks. Looking at the trunk I swear the new um, cantelevered(?) growth is a seed of the tree as the bark looks younger and the crotch just doesn't look like the rest |
