Summit Ash die off

i have 25 summit ash trees lining a driveway. Aside from some anthracnose they ended last fall healthy but this spring they appear to all be is serious decline. These trees are approx 30 years old. Some have about 40% leafout with others 10%. none are developing leaves on existing wood. Of the opinions I have recieved there may be several causes(it does not appear to be emerald boer) but all appear to be terminal. I wait and hope but will probably need to remove them all. I just learned of the threat to pin oaks and some maples. Any other species that are currently under attack in the northeast. I will never plant just a single species again and may stay with grass as we have several hundred mixed hardwoods on the property but my wife wants to replant even if we won't live to see our beautiful allee again so I would like to avoid those species with known threats.

Cm, there's also an ash borer-not EAB-that can occasionally wreak havoc. Just throwing that out there. did you look closely at the trunks for D-shaped exit holes?
